Our Gold Coast blend is crafted from an array of exceptional coffees sourced from Colombia, Mexico, and Guatemala.
Colombian Coffee (Finca Palmichal, Quindío):
This coffee brings a vibrant sweetness with tropical, fruit-forward notes of tangerine and pineapple. Grown at 1,560 meters above sea level in the Central Andes, Finca Palmichal is run by third-generation grower and now-senator Don Atilano Giraldo. His farm includes 350,000 trees and is known not only for its high-quality washed processing but for its commitment to sustainability, gender equity, and community development. Women workers are given priority access to less steep terrain and provided meals and housing. This coffee reflects the heart of Colombian resilience and innovation in every sip.
Guatemalan Coffee (Manos de Mujer, Huehuetenango):
Sourced from the ACODIHUE cooperative in the Cuchumatan mountains, this coffee is grown by indigenous women farmers who now own their land. With flavor notes of citrus and delicate florals layered over a smooth, sweet base, this selection represents just 22% of ACODIHUE’s top-tier harvest. Grown at 1,500 masl and washed-processed, this coffee also supports Bellwether’s Living Income Pricing and Farmer Impact Fund, which brings emergency dental care, sustainable wages, and gardening programs to the community.
Guatemalan Coffee (Finca Quequezques, San Juan Sacatepéquez): This component offers deep structure and balance to the blend, with a creamy body and nutty-caramel depth. Run by the Delgado family for generations, this farm and mill are located in rich volcanic soil and guided by agroforestry systems that enhance biodiversity and climate resilience. Shade-grown under native trees and steeped in tradition, the coffee grown here reflects the legacy of Guatemala’s indigenous communities and a commitment to ecological harmony.

This has become a favorite! The aroma while it's brewing is mouth watering. It's very smooth and for someone like me who brews a pot and consumes it over a three hour period, the flavor of the coffee seems to change minimally over the duration (some roasts do not do well after it sits for an hour). This roast is worth every penny! Each time I order a Sips syrup I almost always toss a bag in my online cart!
